Material rates default to US market ranges per sq ft: new build 80/120/175/260, renovation 40/75/120/190, addition 90/130/185/270 and light commercial 60/100/150/220 for budget, standard, mid-range and premium finishes. Labour defaults to 60, 45, 65 and 55 per sq ft for those same project types. Both are overridable, and you should override them with real quotes once you have them. Land, permits, design fees and utility hookups are not included.
